Making the right decision choosing breast surgery in Manchester

Breast surgery is quite a broad subject, and there are various approaches to help address different issues. Breast surgery is one of the most common types of plastic surgery we undertake here in Manchester, and our surgeons are extremely experienced in both breast enlargement and reduction.

The most common types of breast surgery Manchester include:

  • Mastopexy: Mastopexy is also known as a breast lift and is a popular choice for women that have experienced a loss of volume in their breast. This is commonly caused by pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight loss and ageing. Mastopexy can help to restore the volume and shape of your breasts. The technique used is completely dependent on your current body and your desired results.
  • Augmentation: Breast augmentation surgery is also commonly known as breast enlargement or a ‘boob job’. Many women who choose breast augmentation wish to increase their breasts by one or two sizes and often aim for a natural look that will flatter their body size and shape. It is possible to have them enlarged more than this if you wish, and 3D body image technology can be used to give you an idea of your perfect size and visualise your end results.
  • Reduction: Breast reduction surgery is a common choice for those who feel self-conscious about having a big chest and those who experience medical problems from this. If you have large breasts that stop you from doing what you want to do or wearing the kind of clothes you want, then breast reduction surgery can be a great option.
